Keeping Backs Healthy, What Can Be Done ?
Too late, Mycernius, the snowball has taken to the slopes ...

Really starting to miss the old bugger. We need his back.
Oh, I don't miss the old bugger, or his bad back, I just miss his healthy back. Speaking of backs, we all need our healthy backs back, that's been snatched by walking on two. Why can't we go back to quadripedal walking ? I've heard Sophia Lauren did her morning cat yawns to keep her back in good shape. Several things we can do to relive the undue stress our backs are getting.
1. hang on a tree for 15 minutes every day.
2. walk on all fours for 1 hour every day like the gorillas' do with their knuckle walks.
3. devise a special bed where we can easily change into & out of a dangling sleep posture, either head up or down.
4. legally require from an early age to regularly go on a back-stretching bench / bed to prevent any major compression of the disc before any gets herniated.

Hope all goes well with the surgeon.
Well, I really don't care what happens to the surgeon. I just hope he does a good job if he has to break his back in so doing. I could say all good sugeons go to heaven, while the bad ones burn in hell. Better do a good job, or esle ...
Question: DO they have an artificial disc that can replace a natural disc ? One that can last for decades, remains flexible, keeps the nerve bundles intact under all imaginable stress ? How much does a surgery cost to replace one disc, parts & labor ? I have at least one bad disc that's been ailing me for years, always lurking in the back waiting to strike.
@ Frank, I hope you're doing well. I bet the doctors are blaming your prolonged hours of forum activity for all the pain. Get well soon !
