Trip to Amami

Goodevening everyone,

Me and my friends are traveling to Japan, and we wish to visit Amami.
We would like to book the following hotel:
Petit Resort Native Sea Amami 3-star
894-0412 Kagoshima, Tatsugo, Ashitoku 835, Japan

The problem is that in Amami there isn't that much english.
My friends and I do know some Japanese but not that much.

Can you recommend something?
The best way to get arround in Amami?
Are there any Taxi's that can take us from the airport to the hotel?

I would imagine that a three star hotel is likely to have a collection service from the airport. I would first phone them.

A bit of searching found that there are buses and taxis from the airport. See the bottom of this link.

Anyone who has graduated from high school (a high percentage of Japanese) will have studied English for 6 years, and should at least understand a simple request for a taxi from the airport to the hotel in English. If you know some Japanese, you should be fine. But try asking the hotel first.
