I didn't abandon the thread I have been traveling all over the place ... Besides it took me a long time to figure out places n Japan .. Nothing made sense at the beginning .. Names, set ups, technology, transportations.. Everything is complicated.. Japan is a unique and complex ... It's like a different fantasy world...
Now for the first time , yesterday I was able to put pieces together eventhough am a traveler and getting custom to different places is not difficult for me... This one was a challenge.. So forgive me

In the course of the four months you disappeared from your thread, we could have helped you figure out those difficult things....but you didn't ask us.
You wait until a handful of hours before the plane leaves, like the kids who haven't paid attention in their Japanese language classes all semester and then come here a few hours before their project is due expecting us to do it for them. I have about the same feeling for you as for them. No anger or antipathy, but no sympathy either. I just simply refuse to care about other people's problems more than they apparently do themselves. It is a large part of why I quit the farcical Eikaiwa world of pretending to teach English to people who pretend to learn it.

As for not abandoning the thread, look at it realistically. In four months you apparently (to us) couldn't make the time to spend a moment or two to post an update on what you had been researching and found confusing...? Get real.
As for Japan being complicated, uh, in what sense? Trains run on time, and many web sites list schedules in English. Hyperdia even gives you a way to look up routes and costs. If "complicated" means you simply can't make up your mind on what to do and see, then you need (needed) to give us more background info so we could help. If you meant that booking a hotel, ordering food, finding something on a map, using cash machines, etc. is complicated, you have to explain more clearly.
So, please define "complicated".

Trust me. You will. I can understand one's excitement and enthusiasm to see as much as possible, but it is physically IMpossible to see everything. Mike and I have been here for decades, and we haven't seen it all. And, I've been all over Hokkaido , Honshu, and Shikoku , as well as a little in Kyushu . Mike has probably seen far more than me as a consequence of his work. Besides, to snub us when we were essentially the only ones who have tried to help (despite your lack of feedback, hint, hint) is just ridiculous.
Of course, all this is probably moot because you are leaving for Japan shortly (today?). That won't preclude asking for advice along the way, unless you find that too "complicated", too.
And guess what ... Just for the record ... Am not gona update u on my trip to Japan .. So Don't sit waiting and crying about it...
By the way, I do have a life outside this chat, which most likely took me away all this time , but you won't understand cause obviously am talking to robots
Now my advice to both of you, to go get a life, see the sun not just the PC screen, and start respecting people and their lives...
