Do you know anything about herb scutellaria baicalensis (Ougon) (root) ???
Is it applyed topically in any of japanese drugs?
and
Are Kampo or TCM drugs for topical application anyway??

Or mayby you know anyting about GUCHIGAO for periodontitis (it might be chinese drug i suppose)?

[SIZE=-1]The name for [/SIZE]scutellaria baicalensis is 'Chinese skullcap' which in Chinese is '[SIZE=-1]Huang Qin'. It's used for many conditions - mostly internal but it's common in topical traditional Chinese remedies for carbuncles, furuncles and impetigo.

Without knowing what you need it for, I can't give you any more information than that.

As for the other name - I'm not aware of the herb. There are plenty for herbal treatments for [/SIZE]periodontitis though - most internal but one or two can be placed in the periodontal pockets.
