tour or independent march to fuji-san

Hello,

travelling tokyo to mt. fuji to climb it.........is tour a better option or we can manage independently within our group (which is only a group of 2)..

a group of 2 (is called a duo) well in that option i think you better use option 2: independent that would be better Prasad

To be on the save side you should make a reservation. In case you change your mind and find a different hut to stay at, just cancel the reservation by phone.

Going without an organized group is totally fine. Just have to do some research on the net to find out what to bring, where to go, etc. Lot's of pages cover that.

If you plan to climb in August, especially during the WE or around o-bon , you absolutely need to make a reservation for the transportation, and perhaps even for a hut.
