I hate that. I have always been "good" with my downloading, or so I liek to believe. I download the songs until I can get the original, then I delete the song(s) I have downloaded. Unless there's only one song by a band that I like... But yes, people should be willing to pay money for the effort the artists put into what they release. My parents and entire family and most of the people at school, say that buying Dir en grey merch. or any OTHER Japanese band merch. is a waste of money and that I should jsut download the songs.
I HATE that! They say it's a waste of my money to buy their merch. I say it's a waste of the artists' TALENTS to only DOWNLOAD and NOT show my appreciation of the band/artist. When I buy some type of badn/artist merchandise, it makes me feel proud to know that I am supporting the artist, not ripping them off like so many lazy assholes out there.
