IMHO, the questions are straightforward enough for you to have an idea of what to write. If you are not clear on anything, please ask specific questions, it can help other people too.
BTW, it's not a good idea to post your email address on the internet if you don't plan on getting emails about winning a million dollar lottery.

Hi,
I am applying for this year IGP in Titech
In the same field as yours, Natural Language Processing. Could you please tell me what kinds of question they asked you in the interview (of course it is related to NLP right?) Thanks in advance. I found this thread very useful ^-^Hey.
Well, make sure you contact the right professor, i.e., one whose area of expertise is NLP. They usually ask if you have studied Graph Theory, Discrete Mathematics, and can do undergraduate level math. They will also ask a few basic questions related to your undergraduate course. So if you are a Computer Science student in your undergrad, then they might ask you basic questions related to Automata, Compilers, etc. Nothing too advanced. It will be handy to prepare beforehand. Also, make a brief outline on which area you would like to work on, with some background details like why you are interested in that area, what work have you already done in that field, other previous experiences, problem statement (if you have any in mind).
Since I'm in Keio University and not TITech, this is about as much as I can help you. I hope this helps.

I want to ask about form application
In the study program form,
"Proposed study program in Japan (State the outline of your major field of study on this side and the details of your study program on the backside of this sheet in concreteness. This section will be used as one of the most important references for selection."
１ Field of study（専攻分野）
We need to explain about our previous / undergraduate study right? Maybe about our undergraduate thesis etc. Am I right?
２ Study program in Japan in detail and concreteness（研究計画：詳細かつ具体に記入すること｡）
What do we write in this field? Is it about our research proposal (the same as one we send to our-intended-Titech-professor)?

Not really. Just what you plan to do in the future, and why you want to work on the field.
Yes, this is what you plan to do in concrete details. You may mention your undergrad thesis if you want to, and the reasons why you want to pursue the topic. It's equivalent to SOP in maybe Europe or US university applications (but much shorted of course)

This time about "Summary of thesis" as part of the document application. Do I need to include references in my thesis in this "summary of thesis" ? :?

Hi! This thread has been a great learning point for me. I'm applying alongside many of whom have asked the queries before. I'm applying to the architecture faculty. I would really be grateful if you guys can help me out with some of my questions which can further help other aspiring students.
1 - i was wondering if someone could guide me how the research proposal is devised? I know an architecture proposal would differ in its content but the constituents and the basic structure would remain the same. no?
2 - roughly how long should the letter of intent/personal statement be? I'm talking about the first email that we have to send to the professor.
I'm freaking out as the admission periods have started and i'm still in the process of devising a research proposal!! :s i have a clue of the themes that i'm interested in as it continues the same line of thought as my undergraduate thesis study. But how detailed should it be! (how long, the possible structure)

Not yet hehehehe. I did send my intended proffesor, but he has not replied yet. But in my opinion, you could just send your CV, transcript, and research proposal for the first time contacting them. At least, I did that
Wow... Mine was 1 page only, including the citations...

Me, too. Heheheh. Thepie, The first prof I contact did not reply my email after +/- 2 weeks, so I contact the other prof. Now it has been 2 days after that and he has not replied my email too. What should I do if there are no profs that reply my email? And I could not contact the other profs because I also have to choose the profs that have similar research area with me right?

I have had 2 classes so far. I've been mainly busy with administrative work so far. First couple of days are really hard if you are not conversational in Japanese or if you are not lucky enough to find nice people helping you (I luckily did and owe them big time). This might be different if you live in the dorm first.
