TiTech IGP Questions

Looking at this blog, last year LoA was signed at 5 March. According to mutnam86's post, the letter was sent 2 days ago so we can conclude that it's the same for this year. From my experience of buying things from Japan, delivery time to Indonesia will be around 4-6 work days to my city if they use EMS as the shipping method. Hopefully I will receive the letter by next week.

Although the content is the same, I think it's different from email that was sent at the end of January. It seems that what you received is the official LoA. But can you check if it's the same as what littleflow3r (from the blog I mentioned above) got last year?

In your blog, they said you were selected as a MEXT scholarship student, but mine said i am a candidate for MEXT scholarship student. So I will have a chance to get a scholarship if and only if there is some people withdraw their rights for MEXT scholarship.

It's not my blog actually, it's someone else's blog who was already accepted last year. I haven't received the letter.
But what I want to know is whether you also got the three letters (Letter of Acceptance, Important Notice, and Pledge Statement) or not.

Yes, there are three letters-loa, important notice and pledge statement.

It has arrived just now. It contains three document, Letter of Acceptance by President of TITech, Importance notice, and Pledge statemeny which I must send it as an attachment in an email not later than 19 March 2014.

It seems that the admission division sent all of the document by 5 March. Maybe it depends on your postal service. I'm sure it has already arrived in your country.

Hi, I applied for IGP(a) 2014 program too.
I saw from the previous posts that some of the applicants have already got the letters from Titech. Congratulations for you!

The document state that I have been selected as a MEXT Scholarship Student.

I am not sure if this is the final result or I have to wait for the other result.

oh boy, I remember I forgot to wrote my postal code in the aplication form. Hopefully it can reach my house next week

Hello huang92, are you accepted to the IGP(A) program as well? I see you are from the same city as mine as well as barbarian too

i think this is the final result. congratulations again. the only thing you need to do is waiting for the official notification from mext. although i did not get mext, i will go to titech. it seems that we may meet at titech this October.

Yeah, as quizer said, you should've received an email from your prospective advisor by late January about your status.

I just got the email from my adviser about the confirmation for scholarship on 30 January and had already replied it.

How about you quizer, did you got any email besides the confirmation ones?

When I asked him again about my possibility he said that,
"You have passed the entrance exam as a best five student of fifty applicants. And we have recommended twenty applicants as candidates for the MEXT scholarship.
So the possibility might be very high."

but anything still on the knees of the gods before I get the official result about it.

So you are in the same condition as me because I haven't received any letter as well. So in this year in this thread, we have 3 people from ITB that will go to Titech
