How does
私は考えていて。
differ from
私は考えている.
Someone told me that ていて turned the verb into the present progressive form but doesn't ている do the same thing?
私は考えていて。 doesn't make sense as a sentence (well, at least as a stand alone sentence without a specific context). Where did you get it from? (Or, maybe you made it?)
