I know how to directly and indirectly quote people. But how do you talk about the quotations themselves?
Like, how would you say in Japanese, "The last English sentence, '[quoted stuff here]', was passive."? I know it involves「先の英語の文」, but I don't know how to do the rest.

It's quoted in quotation marks, just like in English.

最後の英文 "the sentence is quoted" は受動態です。
一番最初の文章「あの文章は引用されている」は受動態 です。

...Seriously? Wow. I feel... I don't know what to feel.

Thanks again!
