I have some Japanese sentences I would like to have translated
if possible I would like it if the sentences can be translated word by word

返信 means 'reply', but the rest I don't know

遅れる - to be late

The whole sentence means "Sorry for the late reply." It's typical to use the ~て form of a verb followed by ごめなさい to say something like, "Sorry for..." or "Sorry I did..."

Holland
Soccer/Football
Strong

This sentence means "Holland soccer is strong (skilled), isn't it?"

This may translate to being that Soccer teams/players in Holland are generally strong or that perhaps a particular Holland team in a tournament is strong, it just depends on the context.

強い in general seems to be a word to describe skilled athletes or teams in Japan, whereas in English it's more typical to say a particular player or team is "good" or "great."

Hope that helps.
