Some advice with sentence structure

Hello, I'm having a hard time translating this sentence.
貴方は私の名前を正しく表記しました。

I know it means that I spelled his name with the proper characters.

But the kanji order are hard.

I know that "貴方" means "you", は is the topic marker, 私 is "I" with の 私の would mean "My" right?

Doesnt' make much sense to me.

The problems you're having with this sentence have nothing to do with kanji.

Why did you stop there? You've figured out that 「私の」 means "my". Does "my" mean anything by itself? No, it has to hook up to something else. Let's see, what comes after 「私の」? Oh look, it's 名前.

So, any guesses as to what 「私の名前」 means?

正しく is a form of 正しい which means correctly instead of correct.

表記 comes up as "declare; inscribing on the face of; publish (info); list (prices); address (package); (P)" in edict

しました means that you did something correctly, particularly 表記'd

At this point you have to choose one. You have some possible choices:

You declared my name correctly.

You inscribed my name correctly.

You listed my name correctly.

etc.

Inscribed if you think of 'wrote' as a good synonym makes the sentence "You wrote my name correctly" which seems to make the most sense.

If you can't figure something out, try plugging in words and checking possible meanings before giving up.
