I can't believe there isn't already a thread about SID! But there isn't, so... I thought I'd make one...

Their music... well, I really like it... obviously... How to describe it? It's kind of like... clear. If that makes any sense. I mean, Mao has a really clear voice, but with lots of emotion in... and the guitar playing is quite clean also... it's sort of light rock/pop/jazzy music. I haven't got time to put any songs up now! but I will definitely post some here for you as soon as I can! (I just got their new single and I can't wait to listen! )

I'm sorry, but I don't know very much about them... their official website is in Japanese, and I just spent ages searching endless jrock webrings in an effort to find independent sites, but with no luck... Tomorrow I will search more for infos, and also I will put up some songs for you! I think Pjusk knows more about SID than I do (well, that wouldn't be difficult!), she sent me a great bunch of their songs that got me into liking them. Anyway I'll try and find out more, and meanwhile if you have any infos please post them here!

By the way, which version of Ao did you upload? Renai or Ryutsu-ban? They are both good... but the intro to the Renai version... must be heard by the whole world!

I haven't listened to Sweet? yet... some people are saying it's not so good, and sounds "un-SID" ( :? )... I know that a lot of people also didn't like Paint Pops as much as their previous stuff, so I'll be interested to see what direction they're heading....

Apparently before they became SID, Mao and Yuya were ex-Shula, Shinji was ex-Uranus, and Aki was ex-Ram Rem. SID was formed by Mao and Aki.

And their music is so good! Here is Sweet? and the other song off the single, Boku Deina. I like Boku Deina best... Sweet? is kinda poppy, I don't like it as much but it's still a good song, and anyway it's good that they try different things instead of just stay the same style.
