Shulla: XII and other shulla stuff

I recently picked up shulla's album XII and thought it was really cool. Does anybody know what track 4 is about though.. anything that would warrant singing like that? XD Also about shulla, has anyone heard cannonball vol. 1 and if so, is it any good (and what is it for that matter? compilation or somehting else?)?

i once had a great picture of sae, len, nagi, kaito and yuichi all together in some amazing scenery but i lost it... if anyone knows the picture i mean could they link me to it or send it to me cause i adored that photo!

I love Shulla.. They're disbanding soon. Last live is on November 21
They released their final single "again ~it is just farewell~ dame ningen" on 5th of October (yeah, two days ago.. anyone heard it? :? )
They are releasing 3 albums before they disband.
One on the 15th October called " 'chabangeki' sono san" (if I got the romaji correct), another on 2nd November called ﾂ『[Shulla]ﾂ〜Never too late to changeﾂ〜ﾂ』.
The third is their "last best album", called "'chabangeki' saishuushou", which will be out on the 16th November.

I really have to buy their CDs

After XII.. I have the Prism single. That's actually all they'd released from then until now, apart from DVDs. I don't have a lot of their earlier songs.

The reason for them breaking up isn't clear to me.. But I heard it might have been that even though they'd become a "major" band they weren't gaining enough popularity for the management or something.. Don't take my word for this though

I haven't heard any of their stuff (yet). Eee - they have a song called Prism? So do PLC! I must search for Prism tonight so that I can pair them... lol.

They have actually been around for a while. They formed in January 2001.
I'm sure there are plenty of bands that have existed for years and years that you don't know of, and that you might consider fairly 'unknown', but have plenty of fans who love them

And I'm sorry to say but many in this forum don't exactly have a wide knowledge of bands.. ☝

It feels like they were forced to break up anyhow, because they may not have been selling as much as their company would like. :angryfire

That's why it's nice when people like you post infos about good bands.

It's not possible to know of them all, of course, which is why we love recommendations.

yeah.. I know No one can know every band.
I didn't want to seem mean saying that, sorry.. I'm just kind of cranky

I wish they could find another company.. But I don't know how it works and maybe they have no choice... Or maybe they just felt it was the right time to finish

No worries... I'm just in a kind of "taking offence" mood today I guess! Anyway, I like cranky people... I love Mikecash... he's so cranky he actually went to the trouble of finding a way of blocking smilies on these pages! I really admire that extent of determined gittitude (to use his own marvellous invented word). You have a long way to go to attain such supreme heights!

I like to widen the number of bands I know... but then I get terribly forgetful... and I find myself actually forgetting what some bands sound like... like Antic Cafe... I have some songs of theirs - not that many really - but I can't for the life of me remember what they sounded like :sorry: I just never really got into them... I need to give them another "run", lol. It's a dilemma as to going for quantity and quality both at the same time!

I'm the same anyway.. there are bands where I've only heard a few songs and then I'm not interested anymore, and I might forget that I heard them at all! (I'm very forgetful sometimes ) Then there are some I hear and don't like and actually remember that I don't like them and never listen to again

well, i never heard of them before...

but that is a reason why i joined the forum... to get too know more
about the jrock "world" cause its BIG but great tough
