In case you were woken up last night by a thundering sound, here's the answer: a fireball, obviously a shooting star, crossed the skies over Kantō and detonated around 2:32 AM, resulting in a loud explosion. My wife asked me whether there was a thunderstorm, I thought some books had fallen off the shelves.
