Hello
Me and a good friend of mine will be travelling to Japan next years April and among the many things we like to visit the little village Shirikawa-go is definitely in our top 5. As some might know Shirikawa-go is the real life version of the fictional village Hinamizawa in the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
My question: Are there people here that actually visited this village? And perhaps can share some tips like how to get there, and the accommodations and such.
We will start at Tokyo and from there we will be travelling south, taking along Kamakura and Fuji-chan, all the way to Kyoto , so as it stand now we wont be anywhere near Shirakawa-go. Of course plans can be changed so please don't hesitate to recommend a alternative route if that's needed.
Any feedback at all is highly appreciated!
Ty in advance
