Hi, I'm moving to Japan in March and I'm in need of some advice. Does anyone know a decently priced way to ship my snowboard and gear over to japan from the UK, as I won't be able to take it as part of my luggage. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Unless the move is permanent, have you considered leaving the board at home and just renting a board those few times you'll need one?

I'm moving out here. Anyway, hire boards are ****, why hire someone else's board, boots etc when I have my own. I have contacted my local PO and a few delivery companies, they are pretty expensive. I was just wondering if anyone had any handy words of advice!!

What's the reason you can't bring the stuff as check-in luggage when you fly over?
