Ship Clock

Trying to find information on this particular ship clock. I believe it's from WWII and possibly off a submarine. Any information would be much appreciated.

I found a similar one on the internet. This particular one has an illuminated face, but other than that it is the identical model as yours. The site says it was made from the 1920s to 1945. I don't think it was made specifically for a submarine.
