Travel Shibuya Walking tour

Here you are a small 4K Video tour of Japan that I made using a steady-cam, hoe you will like it!

This reminds me of a plan I once had as a student: create timelapse/walking tour videos of cool places (such as Tokyo) and sell them to companies with screens in waiting rooms/reception desks/etc. Never pursued it really.

Have you ever thought of pitching exclusive footage to foreign travel companies? Your videos look amazing and would definitely help sell tours! Most of the website just have (a limited amount of) nice photos. The real deal 4K would make them stand out

I watched some of your videos and they are very good, the quality is great and I enjoy it a lot but I would like to share my opinion on something. I think you should use soft music (no voice) in the city video and remove the natural city sound. the natural sound from the city is cool at first but after a few minute i had to mute it. The video that called "Chiba Ono River Sawara", the natural sound was good until people started talking and car sound came in.

Thank you for your comment and for watching some of our videos! I understand what you mean but I have a few problems with it. First of all, it goes against, our concept, where we want to give people the possibility for a full visual and auditive immersion in Japan and this whatever the circonstances. We want this project to be contemplative and help people to travel to Japan without moving. Actually if we could add "smell" to our video we would love to do it!

Now, we time to time use music on some of our video and we did it 4 times I believe and this to replace bad or none existing audio track (Timelapse and so on), the result is acceptable, but a very difficult exercise and this for the following reasons.
1. If you want great music you have to pay for it. We have 250 Videos (139 published) and plan to get 800 to 1000 more. I cannot spend 25 to 100 USD per tracks per videos (using again and again the track will be boring for people). Music licensing is a ***** and you need to get the proper rights on a global scale : NOT CHEAP
2. You have to match your content to the music in terms of atmosphere, length and what you see on the screen, which is extremely time consuming and will limit our creativity as well as the length of our videos
3. My/Our musical taste may be VERY different from yours and a track can completely destroy the atmosphere that your video is trying to create.

I have saw MANY gorgeous videos of Japan where I had to mute the audio because of the poor and cheap track...

Personally, I liked the street noise, so I have no problem with the videos like they are.

I have 3 question TSV. What speed were you going? 2) did you have the camera on a stand with wheels and 3) did you have a sign when shooting this to tell people to get out of the way. I really want to know.
