Sending mail with Thunderbird

I've got this problem for already a few weeks, and hope anyone can help me out.

I can receive all my emails... spam and hundreds of posts from Jref. But I can not send emails true my Thunderbird mailbox.

When I try to send a message I receive this error:

Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server mailbox.kobecityfo.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else contact your network administrator

My server is correct mailbox.kobecityinfo.com
also my port should be correct port 25.

I have tried to connect my webhostingaccount but they can't help me (grrrr...) he only told me I should contact my ISP... (I can explain this stuff in Japanese... how the hell can I do that).

So any help, would be great!

You need to go back and verify your settings again. What program were you using before, Outlook?

I had the same problem when I reloaded Windows and reinstalled Thunderbird, but it turned out that I had one of the settings incorrect.

I can't look at my settings right now (I'm at work), but later I will check and see if I see anything that might help you.

Does your email server require authentication to send out? If your settings are all correct then contact your ISP. Some ISPs do block sending email on port 25 if you are using your own mail server. This problem is the #1 problem I run into when my clients say they can't send out. If they aren't blocking it, then check your anti-virus and firewall (this is the #2 problem I've run into and its usually related to Symantec/Norton). Hope this helps

Your setting seem ok...same as what I have.

Looks like you need to contact your ISP.
