Samurai 4 basic weapons - help needed!!!

Hi, I need to have an answer to some sort of quiz, the question goes like this:

"Name 4 basic pieces of weaponry of a samurai . List them from the shortest one to the longest one."

Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate that.

Ok, found the following weapons. Is this order (from the longest to the shortest) correct?

katana, wakizashi, tachi, tanto

???

tachi>katana>wakizashi>tanto

Tachi 70-80cm
Katana >60.6cm
Wakizashi 30.3cm-60.6cm
Tanto <30.3cm

How about other weapons, that is, bow, spear, or gun?

Well, because of that sub-question of ranking the weaponry from the longest to the shortest one, I kinda assumed they mean sword. I think the question's unclear, we could go into bow, nodachi, naginata, etc. And which one of them are considered "basic"? I would stick only with "katana+wakizaschi" but the question says "4 basic weapons", so I'm kinda confused.

Aby thoughts on that?

your guess is perfect, katana, wakizashi, tachi, tanto, I suppose.

I don't think the question itself is tricky. Not like an answer from the famous phrase, Whirlwinds, Forests, Flames, and Mountains, by the Chinese, Sun Tzu

I highly appreciate your feedback when you get the answer, for I like history but I don't like murder or rape here.

Its a silly question, I would say: bow, arrow, long sword, short sword.
