Sakura help! - Cheery Land

Well, because I live in CherryLand, well it's Višnjica on Serbian, but in English you can literally translate it as CherryLand (Višnja - ser. = cherry, sour cherry).

Me and my friends/neighbours are making some graffiti which says "Welcome to CharryLand" at the wall near enter into our neighbour, but I must add "CherryLand" on Japanese kanji below CheeryLand English...

I know that cherry is sakura, but there're two kanjis, both are read 'sakura' and 'ou', and they're almost same, but can someone explain me what's the difference between 櫻 and 桜...

And can I write 櫻陸 (さくらりく) or 桜陸 (same) for CheeryLand...

桜の里 or さくらの里 （sakura no sato)
sato has a sort of nostalgic nuances like your home land or your spiritual home
I know you want the kanji letters, but sakura in hiragana also gives us a nice image.
Following site is the only site which offers free calligraphic fonts in Japan, I think. The fonts may give you a different image on Japanese, esp., hiragana.

many say cherries in Japan taste much sweeter than used to.

櫻 is an old kanji for 桜 - many kanji were simplified about 60 years ago.
陸 means land but not in the same sense as land of "cherry land" - it's earth which is not under the water (like ocean).
For the "land" as of "Cherry Land" you should use 国 which also means nation, country.
桜の国 Land of cherry or cherry land.

Yeah, I know about Chekhov (Чехов). He's very respectful writer in Serbia, and on Serbian sakura no sono or "Вишнëвый" is translated "Вишњак - Višnjak", almost same as "Вишњица - Višnjica"... We're going deeper in off topic :|

Let's go back: Can I use only 桜里 for Cherryland, because I'd like to avoid hiragana...

里 really explane Cherryland, even if I didn't born here, because it's small place almost village... Thanks! --> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Višnjica (article by me)...

I didn't mean to print this characters, I want to write them with brush on the wall But, by the way, thanks for that link, I will download that fonts...

Ok. How about using 窶抖 for the hiragana, 窶堙?
