How well did you do? It took me three tries to say the color without having having my attention drawn to the word.

Hmmm - I read it steady and rapid without making a mistake, but if I had been reading the written word, I could undoubtedly have rattled it off like a machinegun in a way that's difficult when you're reading the color... 😊

What she said. :-)

Doc 🙂

I could do it, but probably only because I have seen it before. The psychology students at uni used it on us. Another one they did was to time us reading out three lists of words. Everyone read one particular list more slowly, although all three lists were the same length. The one you read slowly was supposed to have the words that best described you - so my slow list had words like: neurotic, paranoid, anal, serious, hypochondriac :D

Yeah I would say that best describes you. (J/K;-))

Doc 🙂

Same as Kinsao and Doc. Like Tsuyoiko, I have seen this before as an email sent to me. Didn't cause me much problem then either.

The first word caught me out .... but then it wasn't too bad. Just a little discipline, I suppose.

.... but I must admit ... I was reading slower than I normally would .... by about 50%.

I can do it very well, but only because I blur my eyes so as no to see the letters. :D :D :D

Now, there's an application of lateral thinking ... one that we all should have adopted!

Well done, Clawn!
