Rice Scroll 1945, help with writing

I purchased this rice scroll that has the date 1945 on it. I would greatly appreciate it if anybody here could translate the writing into either English (Preferred) or Spanish if that is what you are most comfortable with. Thank you all in advance!

It seems like Chinese, not Japanese.

It is Chinese. 共 means together, 结 means marry or stick together, 同 means the same, 心 means the heart.
共结同心 just means love each other, for those lovers being getting married or having married.
