為松﨑久一氏於相国作之
Made for Mr. Hisaichi MATSUZAKI in Sagami Province. Unusual kanji in red. Maybe a variant, or maybe I've misread it.
皇紀二千六百四年霜月
1944 December
近藤正利
中山登 合作
Collaboration between Masatoshi KONDO and Noboru NAKAYAMA (other name readings are possible)
I have some doubts about the authenticity. There are no known swordsmiths by those names. There are some missing or errant strokes in the kanji. Are there any arsenal stamp marks on the sword? There might be one under the habaki area. If there is an arsenal mark it might be an indicator of authenticity. But I think its strange to see a collaboration sword where both of the smiths are unheard of.
