Red Flag for Some Posts not Updating

Lately I've been encountering an issue where I'll look at a thread but it won't update as having been read and will continually show up as unread no matter how many times I select "New Posts" or refresh or even logout/login. Most threads don't have this problem but one every now and then one does this, starting just recently. It occurs on different computers and different browsers. The only way to make it get updated to read is to select the Mark Forum Posts as read. It's not a big problem, just FYI.

Thanks for reporting this. Perhaps a caching issue or caused by an add-on. I'll look into it once I'm back home.

Today is the first day I noticed it happening to me. Maybe one of the new updates?

Today it's happening on this thread.
When I go to New Posts list, it indicates an update:

but in the thread the last post is #209 from over a week ago

And even though I go in and out of the thread, the read flag won't get reset until I explicitly Mark Forums Read. But I didn't do this yet in case you want to look at it from my account.

FYI, I'm seeing the exact same thing as @mdchachi described on the same thread. I'd never noticed this before.

It's related to an add-on. Won't happen again!
