I'm going to close this but leave it up as a warning.

On may other Japan-related forums, there have been many Indian and SE.Asian people posting about how they were taken advantage of by firms saying they will find them jobs in Japan.

The standard patter in they submit their resume, the company finds them a job and tells them the name of a the company, but will only release the details of the job after the applicant pays the recruiter a amount of money. Lots of people have been taken in by a company like "Saturn Jobs" offering positions at Hokushin Seisakusho - a fictional company in Tokyo.

[u[I am not claiming the above poster is a scam artist[/u] but be very careful and make sure you are given full details and an independent confirmation of any job you are offered. Don't be made a victim.
