Recommend some good eats in Tokyo

So I'm going to Tokyo next month. One of the things I want to do there is eat good food. Can anyone recommend any really good places to stop by for food like ramen, curry, beef bowls, sushi etc.. in Tokyo?

There's a ramen shop called Ichi-ran, I think they have various locations but the one I know of is in Shibuya. Unfortunately I can't really describe to you how to get there...
It is pretty much the best ramen I've ever had.

I wish I knew what the other ramen shop I really liked was... some friends of mine took me to this place in shinjuku a couple times, but for some reason I wasn't able to re-figure out where it was on my own... if I figure it out I'll post here. It was off in the direction from the south/west exits of Shinjuku station, that's all I can remember
