Quite attractive printing, kimono patterns?

Is anyone able to tell me more about what I have here...it's not katagami but I do believe they are kimono pattern samples...the style of printing is also unfamiliar to me as enlargements seem to show a fabric pattern.....the small pages are extraordinary printing while the larger pages (two feet x 4 feet closed) seem to be an intact catalogue of salesman samples with some contemporaneous notations......maybe Mihama, Fukui Province, 20th century...

Yes, it is a sample book of patterns of Hamachirimen fabric, a kind of silk fabric characterized by a crinkled appearance, a specialty of the Nagahama (Shiga Prefecture ) area. The crinkle effect is made by using untwisted silk for the warp, and twisted silk for the weft/woof, and I think the notations in the book are explaining in some detail how the differences in grades of this fabric (or the different effects) are produced by varying the way the threads are woven.

浜上代 "Hama Jōdai" (my guess is this is the brand name of this kind of Hama Chirimen)
