Quick question about the てくれる　あげる　もらう form

Yes, either will do, they convey the idea that you bought a present, but does not indicate whether you've given it to your friend or not.

Thanks Elizabeth. Yeah the only reason I wrote よろしくお願いします was because it said that I needed more characters in my message - "はい。覚えておこう！" wasn't enough. I suppose I could have just added more exclamation marks?
