Purchasing Concert Tickets

Hi there!
I am planning a trip to Japan next summer and would like to catch a few concerts (if at all possible)...
However, I am not quite sure where you can purchase the concert tickets online...
I've already checked out the websites for Tokyo Dome, Metropolis Tokyo... but I did not find what I was looking for.
I am interested in jrock, classical, and jpop... My japanese is quite horrible... thus making it difficult to comprehend japanese websites..

Can anyone please give me advices as to where I am able to purchase the tickets? Is it possible to purchase online? If not, will I still be able to buy the tickets when I am in Japan, or would that be too late?

Are you interested in amature club events? Or big events like, when Chemical Brothers comes to town or something?

What are the age requirements for entering a club?

Basically no regulation, but if it is a gig starting after 10pm, you must be 18 yrs old or older.

Yeah, no regulation really. I have never seen anyone be carded in my life here.

Pick up one of the gaijin magazines when you get to Tokyo.

JapanZine... Metropolis are big ones in Tokyo. Also get the guidebook "Time Out - Tokyo" They have great listings.
