Japanese Gift Cards Purchase

Does anybody know how or if I can purchase gift cards online for Japanese Supermarkets and have them sent directly to the Japanese address.
And ...NO...I m not sending him money.

Some more info needed.....

I can't help you, but I know when our Japanese members wake up(around 5AM there now) they will ask what area are your relatives in, and maybe even what stores they shop, and probably rather you can read and use a Japanese website? All those things will help give you a better answer hopefully if you should happen to know.

There are all sorts of gift cards here, but I've never heard of a supermarket gift card.

And even if there is such a thing, he could use it to buy liquor or could sell it (at a discount) for cash anyway so you may as well just send him the money.
