Predator v Alien

I just saw the movie earlier today. I wasn't too impressed with it. The begginning was extremely slow paced. Once the action started with Predator fighting Alien's it started to get interesting. The only downfall to the action scenes was that they were so short.

For whoever else saw the movie what do you think about it?

Well someone told me what happens.

and i now the ending. WHICH is just i thought it would be. (from when i first heard about the movie)
the pred would vs the queen and die and a man and women survive or something like this.

Am not sure what rating it is but am sure as hell its not a 18 (WHICH IS SHOULD BE). I bet its a PG or mabye even a U.
I bet insaid of aliens and predators they is fairies with fairy dust.
So the director could act out his fantasy

I hate the director .
How the hell did he get the right to do this movie. HE SUCKS
Everyone didn't want him to do it.

The movie was genius. The fight scenes were great. They set the timeline perfectly and the left the ending to set the scene for the previous movies. Who do you think the elder predator was? What ship do you think crashed on the planet that the crew found infested with aliens? Please think for a moment.

With all due respect Thor, I thought the movie was a serious bummer. The previews and commercials pretty much hyped up the movie. It was shallow and didn't have much flow. I give this one a thumbs down.

i really liked the movie. it was alittle short tho. i wish the action scenes were a little longer, but thats it. atleast it wasn't deluted by worthless love scenes and sentimental values (which is why i was so dissappointed with pearl harbor cuz it reminded me to much of titanic). it was really cool. i was rooted for the pred in the second fight but he died im glad they decided to limit the gun use, cuz then it would have just been shoot this shoot that. all in all i liked it. made me what to see a second one. i never saw the alien movies tho, just bits and pieces here and there.

x2468 brought up a good point that the movie was quite short. If i have to pay $9 to watch a movie I at least expect the movie to be 2 hours. Movies have gotten so damn expensive.

I haven't seen the movie yet, so will not comment on how good or bad it is, but ever notice that the theaters are charging people right out of the marketplace? I suppose you can blame the MPAA for that, because they have to make the money back by charging the theaters more, to promote more people to stay out of the theaters and wait for the rental shops or promote more people to download it because they can't see the correlation that as the movies get more expensive, less people are likely to go watch it in the theaters.
Sadly, seems like a lot of movies these days are fairly short on plot and more focused on the attention deficit crowds. If the movie starts out slow, but ends too fast, and is short in length anyway, wouldn't it just be much better to play the computer game and have at each other?
Some of the novelizations based on the Dark Horse Comics were pretty interesting, however....

It was crap. But every film that Paul W S Anderson has directed has been crap.

He massacred Resident Evil, and now he's massacred this. Hopefully now people will get the picture - he's rubbish.

True, Resident Evil was crap. But this movie he directed, AvP, was an awesome show. I am a huge Predator fan/not a big fan of Alien and I loved it. This movie was a brilliant piece of work. I was very impressed! I didn't think it would be that good

AvP is rubbish. The 1st predator movie was alot better and i dislike that one.

Its more of a comedy I was lmao through most of the movie.

Don't get your hopes up cause your ganna be dissapointed.
