Practice opportunities

I'm looking for suggestions for places I can practice my Japanese in or near Yokohama.

My first choice would be volunteering to do something after work, from about 6:00 PM on. Something useful. Delivering meals to the disabled or seniors, doing hospice work, anything which contributes to society while giving me practice.
