Yes, just go in and enable your rep points. Your points and most recent comments will be displayed. Then if you want to, just disable your rep points again.

Ah, I see. I haven't checked the forum for a while and wondered where all those green balls went.
I can't remember joining the "no rep club" (my reputation was disabled when I logged back in), but quite frankly I never thought there was much point to the feature -- I also remember a poster or two with "GIVE ME REPUTATION PLZ" signatures, which I found pretty annoying.

It wasn't as bad on some other forum where a bunch of posters who didn't like my posting style teamed up on my sorry newbie arse and negative-repped me for every thread I posted, but I'm still glad it's possible to disable the reputation system now.

Actually it isn't entirely disabled. It just a) Hides the green balls and b) Hides the list of who voted rep (positive or negative) on your pots.

You can still vote rep on other people and can still be voted on. (Although my guess is that most people won't do either if you've disabled rep).

Needs more transparency! I'd fix it, too bad I haven't figured out yet how to edit animated GIFs in GIMP. That said, I'm still enjoying my new Linux operating computer machine system.

Yeah but the transparency handling sucks in every animated .gif utility I tried. At the slightest opportunity it turns non-transparent and merges inseparably with another colour in the palette.

Consider it an ironic artistic statement about the default colour scheme .... or something.

I Haven't Figured Out Animated Gifs Yet Either??

All I want is a quick and easy way to shrink over-sized ones down to Forum size; of course a free program would be nice! I did see a site that gives you software if you pay to join, but not that desperate yet.I have to wonder if all the members used animated gifs, would it hammer the server speed?

Actually, the GIMP should work well. I never did it before, but just tried it on some animated dragon. You just have to open the original file, shrink it to the wanted size & export it as animated GIF. Done!


Edit: the original is too big & only shows as thumbnail. You have to click on it to make it work.

I have recently noticed the practice of a few members (see quoted begging above) to beg for rep points, or exchange favours with their some accomplices.
Let me tell you frankly that I find this unacceptable and against the principles of the reputation system. In fact, I should give negative reputation.
