Hi all

Thanks for viewing this question..

I want to know if its easy to travel from Ikebukuro to Ariake Sports Centre, how, and if there's a map of the trainlines/info of the trains....cost, frequency, and I need to know best place to visit if we're there for only a few days..

Also, want to know how safe is travelling with kids, staying in Ikebukuro.

It is easy to travel from anywhere in Metro Tokyo to anywhere in Metro Tokyo. There are maps (and apps) available. The prices are reasonable. The trains at peak times of the day are so frequent you wonder how they keep from bumping into one another. The best place to visit sort of depends on what you want to see and do.

Traveling with kids is safe unless you are in the habit of letting them wander away and get lost. Ikebukuro is as good a place as any other, although all the way across town from Ariake. But with the great public transportation that really isn't an issue.

Use Hyperdia.com and type in Ikebukuro as your starting point and ariake tennis-no-mori as the destination. It will show you the possible routes.
