Hello,
I am planning to visit Japan for the first time in June of this year.
I have planned the following itinerary, but I am not sure if this will be a good itinerary. Please comment:
Day 1 - Arriving at Narita airport, during morning. Heading to Tokyo.
Day 2, 3 - Visit Tokyo
Day 4 - Heading to an overnight stay in Nikko.
Day 5 - Leaving Nikko, heading to Takayama.
Day 6, 7 - Visit Takayama
Day 8 - Yadanaka onsen (see the snow monkeys)
Day 9 - Leaving Yadanaka onsen and heading to Koyasan
Day 10 - Visit Koyasan (stay an overnight in a buddhist temple)
Day 11 - leaving Koyasan and heading to Kyoto
Day 12 - Visit Kyoto
I am also a bit concern with my budget. I will buy a japan railways pass (14 days), i will sleep in the cheaper hotels and do not eat in fancy restaurants. Do you think 1000 €uros will be enough for accomodation, eating and entrance in attractions?
Thanking you in advance, I will wait for your comments.
Best Regards
Sofia
