Picture question

Hello,

I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I was wondering how come I cannot upload a photo for my profile(it isn't really huge), but have no trouble posting it on the 'post your picture here' thread on the forum.

You may have to resize it to meet the size requirements. When I tried it said my pic was too big. So I just resized it in a photo editor to the size specified and it uploaded just fine. Try that.

I managed to get a photo uploaded in the end. But no 'bitmap' type pictures ,is that right?

.bmp can be uploaded to a thread but they are also usually quite big in filesize as opposed to a .jpg so you gotta take that into consideration...
