I recently got tired visiting the webs and working with various application. In a period of time, I began watching the wild animals videos and put away any other jobs in the internet.

A part of the videos I watched was about dog attack to humans. That topic attracted my attention, and I tried to know more about dogs, their behaviors, and this issue that what do provoke a dog that some people in the west, who have extreme love to this animal call it, " the best friend of human"!

I don't know accurately, how many videos about dog attack I watched during the three days, maybe hundred or more. Most of the videos were sad and horrible, especially when an aggressive and persistent dog attacked a kid, and also the attack of dog packs to people. I saw many passers were injured hardly and shout appealing for help, when the dogs tore their bodies agile and wildly.

Of course, somebodies who were familiar with dogs, and also the mothers who tried to ward off a mad dog from their children stood up against the dogs bravely, though the dogs were extremely bold and mad, and didn't give up their victims.

In a video, a dog had caught a person in the street and didn't leave him in any way. A group of people who gathered around the person to release him from the powerful jaw of the persistent dog, kicked it from every side and even beat it with sticks and iron rod, but the mad dog tolerated the hits and would not leave the man.

In a similar video, three dogs attacked a guy. Nobody of the present people could save him from the mad dogs. They bite the guy's body from every side, while he was shouting due to the pain of the wounds. That scene continued for five minutes, until three polices reached there. When they noticed there was no way to ward off the attacker dogs and those are going to kill the man, they shot the three doges and killed them.

There were many videos with similar adventure. In a video a single dog actually killed a man, while his blood covered the yard he was there. He was wearing only an underpants, and that showed, it was his house. The dog caught and tore both his forearms one after another, and the bleeding was from there. The end of the video showed, the guy was in the floor lifelessly and the dog was killed beside him.

After watching all videos, I tried to analysis the behavior of the attacker dogs to see, what factor provoke them to attack the ordinary passers that are not neither a thief nor a wrongdoer, while some of the victims were even children, but I could not figure out the riddle. I only could find out, the dogs are sensitive to the state, type of walking, type of looks of the passers, and also the area or properties they guard. Of course, if a passer carries a bag in a private place, it can be like an alert for a guardian dog.

I also realized, the behavior of the stray and roaming dogs can be different with the guardian dogs. Such the dogs sometimes attack like a the wolves for food. So encountering a pack of these dogs in a private place, especially at night can be a danger for life, because their purpose is hunting and eating.

Either way, based on what I observed, thousands dogs in the Cities are imminent danger for people. It is not clear when they are safe and when hazardous. Their behavior is nor predictable. When a big dog is walking in the side walk with his owner toward you, it may attack you less than a second unreasonably. It is not obvious why does it attack. It may see some signs in you that are similar to the image of a guilty person in its mind. In this case, it cannot difference between you and the wrongdoer it supposes.

Even a particular smell from you can excite a dog. For example, suppose, before you get out from your home, you patted your cat. A dog can sense the smell of the cat on your hand even one hour later! Such the smell can excite some dogs.

Walking soundless and slow can induce dogs that the walker is moving stealthy.

As well as, running a passer has the same meaning for a dog that he is a thief! So, those who run in the streets as exercise at morning are exposed to dog attack highly.

But these are not all the reasons of dog attack. There are some other unknown reasons that why a dog attacks a specified passer and ignores other passers. It may dependent on the character, power, aggressiveness, task, and also the memories of a dog.

Well, we reach this point, what the solation is? Why a western family should have one, two, three or more different dogs at home that expose the citizens to an imminent risk of dog attack. A few years ago, I read an article in an American website that reported; every year, 3600 American citizens are killed and injured by dogs. Why does this have to happen?! Why should we change the cities into the African deserts with a series of predators that are avoidable?

This man is happy with his giant dog. But what about other citizens who meet with this lion-like dog that has ambushed somewhere and threatens their life and safety?





Excuse me, but I know it is said, no problem, the owner is obligated to restrain and control his dog based on the law, and if not, he is responsible...

As a child , I had horrible luck with dogs. My first one died early. Back then dogs ran loose outdoors and my next 2 dogs got run over. I decided then to go with cats. I've had cats now for over 30 years. My cat I have now is going on 16 years old and we have decided no more. To go to the vet now is $85US to have an appointment and then more money for shots and lab tests. My cats needs prescription food and medicines that run into a lot of expense so we have decided when this one goes , no more. I do get a lot of friendly dog attention from all my neighbors and keep dog treats in my pockets when I'm out. I think almost every house in my neighborhood has a dog now. We now have laws that if a dog is outside , it must be on a leash . With all the dogs around , I have never heard of an attack or even a fight between dogs , all well behaved.

Wild dogs are feral creatures and should be treated as such. Dog attacks are sporadic, at least here in Japan, and in most cases, the owners are to be blamed (poor training on both ends of the leash). The number of dog owners in my neighbourhood increased during the pandemic, and some of them cannot handle the bigger breeds (mind they are rare in Japan, where miniature breeds dominate). I can echo Frank's words that, despite their increasing numbers and popularity, we have never had any issues in our area.

So @Mansoor, if you want to understand dogs better, don't resort to gory Youtube videos but spend time with them. They are indeed man's best friends.

I am happy I hear you chose cat instead of dog. Unlike dogs, the homely cats are cute and harmless and refresh the spirit of their owners.

When I was a child I always had a kitty, or tamed a stray cat around the house by giving it food for a while. Of course I chose a beautiful one that was fat and shaggy! I always disliked skinny cats! I even kissed the lips of the kiddies! When my mother saw, I was kissing the lips of the cats, she protested me to stop the action. She said worried, that makes you sick, but at that time, I was careless about a sickness.

I had a black shaggy cat (it was a stray cat before) that when I was having food it sat beside me and touched my arms with its hand gently a few times and looked at me appealing. It meant to give it a morsel of the food, as well. I deliberately paid no attention to it to repeat its request, while I was laughing stealthy!

However, home cats are harmless and cute and having a cat as a pet is a good choice. The cats can be loyal to their owner too.

I saw in a video, a dog attacked a 4 years old kid. At that time, a familiar cat ran toward the dog like a bullet and attacked it by all its power and agility! less than a second, the dog scared, left the kid and ran away, while the brave cat pursued the dog! It was among the videos that made me laugh.

Unlike cats, dogs have a sense of predators due to their physics and essence. They are something like wolves but with a sense of familiarity with their owners.

In a clip, I saw, a big Turkish shepherd dog ( I forgot its generic name but you can see its picture in the previous post) had joined a pack of wolves and was walking with them around a village! It shows dogs are not different with wolves noticeably and have the same nature. Nevertheless, dogs are braver and bolder than wolves in attack, while wolves are worse in predatory.

Of course, I don't think having a dog with the natural small body can not be blamable in the western societies. In the Islamic society, it is recommended not to hold dog at home in the cities unreasonably, though it is allowed for ranchers and shepherds (out of cities) to have some dogs to protect their herds in the remote deserts against predators like wolves, leopards and bears.

While the dogs with big body and powered physics are actually a serious problem in the societies. I found these titles about fatality of such the dogs:

Pitbull. Pitbull's caused a whopping 71% of fatalities in 2016. ...

Rottweilers take second place in risk of harm.

American Bulldog. Similar to Rottweilers.

Doberman Pinscher.

Wolfdog.

Mastiff.

The problem is that, the owners are not able to restrain and control their dogs all the time, and if such the dogs find an opportunity they can create a tragedy.

As far as I researched through watching the videos, and analyzed the different dogs' behaviors, their unexpected and unpredictable attack were not due to mistreating of humans. I thought for hours (I still am thinking) and reviewed those attacks that some were momentary and some persistently to understand what excited those dogs to attack, but I could not reach a certain conclusion.

Well, now, we ignore the targets who were adult. We suppose, the dogs considered them as some wrongdoers or enemies. What about the eight, four, and even two years old children?

When I was 10 years old, I experienced such the dog attack.

I was riding bicycle while my cousin (he was a kid) was with me. When I was moving in the side walk and passed in front of a garage a big black dog similar to the German shepherd came out rapidly from the garage barking and attacked my right leg.

Just when its fangs touched my shank, I moved my leg up rapidly, while it was sinking its fangs into my muscles. I lost control of the bike, fell down and my cousin crashed on the ground and cried. At that time, the horrible dog left us and backed to the garage arrogantly!
Two or three passers gathered around me and helped me to get up from the ground. When the passers visited my leg I saw the fangs of the dog scraped my leg. Its teeth cut my skin, and a black sore with particles of blood was on my leg. One of the passers told me to inform my parents to take me to a clinic to have tetanus and rabies injections. It seems my memory has stopped in this point and I don't remember the rest of the story and how I backed home with my little cousin and how I told the story to my parents, but I am sure they didn't take me to doctor!

Well, the question is this: "why does a dog must attack a kid while it knows a child is weak, harmless and can not do anything"?

Based on my calculation, dogs and other predators are five times faster than humans, even in recognition. They can consider five competitors simultaneously in a close engagement. Dogs are intelligent and can recognize the position and ability of different persons, just with a short glance! They know children, and know they are innocent and cannot do the wrongs that some adults do. So, why some dogs attack children?

In a video, a British woman (I think in Birmingham city) with her three children was passing from a side walk. After a while, She and her children went to other side of the street. At that time, a dog was smelling the side walk, where the woman and her children passed from there earlier. I understood later, it was chasing the trace of the family.

As the dog was still smelling the ground went to the other side of the street, where the woman and her children were walking. It suddenly attacked the smallest child of the woman. She screamed and tried to release her child from the mouth of the dog that took long for about one minute. I don't know, whether it injured the child or not, but it tore all the kid's clothes. After the effort of the mother, the dog left the first child and attacked the second! At that time, people rushed into the side walk and after a hard effort ward off the dog.

What was the reason? Why the dog was smelling the tract of the woman and her children and chasing them? Why it ignored the woman and attacked her weak children? That is why I say, the behaviors and instincts of dogs is still a mystery. Is such attacks a physical disease in the brain of dogs or it is a mental disorder?

Earlier, I watched a documentary film of a dog trainer. I don't remember, whether he was British or American. People called him to treat their dogs, mentally. For example, a shy dog feared to face other dogs, or a dog could not tolerate its owner to leave it and the house. It stood in front of the door as a barrier, sniffed threatening, and didn't allow the owner to get out. Somebodies complained to the trainer that their dogs are unrest and attacker.

However, those owners delivered their dogs to the trainer to take them to a particular place and treat them.

Based on what I watched in the film, most likely, the mental of dogs is instable and can move with a sudden rise and fall between a normal behavior and predatory.

As far as I found out, no training and teaching can affect the nature of an animal like dog, permanently, and no trainer can warrantee he has changed the nature and instincts of a dog.

So the behaviors of a dog can be changed every moment because of an outside factor or an inner motivation; therefore, the different behaviors of a dog is not foreseeable, and nobody can trust in a dog to behaves based on his owner or trainer's expectations.

In video I saw a weird behavior of three shepherd dogs (not wolfdogs):

They were the guard of sheep in a place. In the absence of the rancher, one of them began attacking those sheep and then focused on one of the lambs to kill it. That dog began wounding the lamb, and after the minutes the two other dogs joined it to take down the poor lamb! They finally killed the lamb and held an "eating lamb" party!

It seems unbelievable a shepherd dog that is the guard of a herd attacks the sheep itself.

It is the same I pointed to; a dog can be possessed by its predatory instinct in an uncertain time. At such the time, it behaves based on its feeling and imagination.

This issue is seen in other hunter animals like tamed lions and tigers. Some trained tigers and lions in the cirques attacked their trainers unexpectedly frequently, while they were under training from the time they were a cub.

Therefore, in general, the carnivorous animals are not trustable to leave their natural instincts even after a long term of taming and training, and dogs are among them.

Of course, dogs never attack their owners even in the worst conditions, but there is no warrantee they don't do a wrong to their children or animals. A dog expects its owner to love it particularly; in some situations, if an owner behaves to his/her children lovely and pay no attention to its dog, this can excite some dogs to revenge.

I saw in a video, a guy arrived at his house yard with his two years child. He put his child on the ground and moved further than the child. Less than a second, his average dog appeared from behind of the yard bushes and was going to attack the kid. the guy turned and noticed the attack immediately. He kicked the dog shouting, and the dog left the kid and escaped.

So, if you have a dog, especially a big dog, and you are walking with it in a street or park, and the rope of its leash is in your hand, don't trust, it does not attack suddenly an elderly man or a kid with his mother who are passing by you.

I saw in a clip, a woman with her big dog was in the side walk. The rope of the dog was in her hand. The dog attacked a man meters further. The woman held the leash of the dog firmly, but the strong dog broke the leash and attacked the guy, while the woman ran every side but could not take back the mad dog.

Most dog aggression towards children is fear-based, though many dogs will also show aspects of food, possessive and territorial aggression as well. Most likely what you experienced was territorial. It could have also been instinctive though. I had a dog that tried to chase after a car. I didn't see it but it seems that it tried to bite at the rear tire and ended up getting run over and died. It was very sad. But now that you mention it, this outcome is better than attacking and injuring a child.

If the dogs were actually eating the lamb it would indicate they were hungry.

True, there is some uncertainty. I must point out, though, by focusing only on violent videos or those depicting harm you are not getting a clear picture. What if you only watched violent crime videos of humans? Wouldn't you then think that all people are violent and cannot be trusted?

I emphasis that madness and harmful illnesses are always with dogs and appears in an unclear time. Nobody (I say again) nobody can control his dog absolutely and all the time, and the ill or provoked dogs in the cities can hurt citizens unavoidably.

I carry pepper spray in a small spray can for any problems with animals (or people). We do have some animal problems with rabid wild animals in Maine. My backup gun uses shotgun shells for stopping an attack and for a larger animal (bear,fox ,human,moose) I carry a 45auto with 8 rounds of P+ hollow points. Even though I live in a large city surrounded by lots of vehicle traffic , my back yard get all kinds of animals. The picture above reminds me of a neighbors dog who smiles just like that. There's no growl and his tale wags , but he looks scary until you get to know him. Considering how many people in Maine own dogs , it seems there are under 10 attacks a year that make the news.

The pepper spray seems to be a good solution, but I don't agree with gun.


First of all, gun itself is a problem like dogs in the cities! Second, what if your shooting goes wrong and your bullet hits a citizen?!

Also, the dog in the picture is not smiling, it is angry and is prepared to attack people. I wanted to show the dangerous teeth of an aggressive dog that can hurt people.

Although I am from oppositions of carry arms, but if there is not any solution against a dog or other wild animals except using a gun, I prefer to use a large caliber revolver instead of a rifle, because of two reasons:

1- Rifle has a long barrel and aiming a rapid dog with a rifle from a close distance is difficult and the percent of mistake is high.

2- If a dog attains someone and catch his hand, or take him down on the ground, a heavy and long rifle is useless. But if he has a light revolver with short barrel, he will be able to put its barrel on the head or chest of the dog and shoots.

A revolver is better than a pistol, do you know why?

If you have a fail to fire with a pistol , it's a time consuming process to clear the problem and be ready to fire. Usually with a revolver , you just pull the trigger again and it will fire unless there is a major problem. People like pistols because they carry more cartridges , usually between 8 & 20 or more. A revolver is usually limited to 5 or 6 rounds. When I don't carry my pistol , I carry a 5 shot revolver in .357 caliber. I agree that using a handgun to shoot anything is highly dangerous and a person should have training and lots of practice. I started shooting in 1955 with a BB/pellet gun and never stopped , mostly target shooting and a little hunting. I had a lot of professional training as a police officer. I feel lucky I never had to shoot a person or a dog. Most cities in Maine have very strong laws against firing a gun and you better have a very good reason if you do. There are about 20 dogs in my neighborhood and I always have dog treats to give them. For a while , I was a K-9 officer and always enjoyed working with dogs. Most towns have what we call "animal control officers" who will handle any problems with dogs or any animal. It is very rare to see a dog that is not on a leash and aggressive dogs usually have a muzzle over their snout/mouth if they have responsible owners. I will admit that large pit bulls scare me a bit.

That's not an easy question because "dangerous" dogs can also be guard dogs that protect their owner. They help the safety of their families. But they can be dangerous to others.

I hope, you don't think I am a cruel person that hate dogs and wish to destroy them. I spoke about a dangerous attacker dog that is going to kill a person or injure him intensely.

In such the situations that a dog doesn't leave its victim in no way, and is ripping his body nonstop, it is the certain task of a shooter to put an end on its life, because the life of a human is more valuable than the life of a killer dog.

I saw in a documentary movie, an organization holds the aggressive and attacker dogs ( that are not treatable at all ) in the cages to kill them later, inevitably. I don't remember the organization was in America or England.

We have a proverb that says, " having mercy on the leopard, is oppression to the sheep".

Tip:
Of course, we humans are not less than the tigers, because we everyday kill millions sheep, cow and chicken to eat their meat! LOL

However, safety of people is the most important thing in the lands and I think the big and powerful dogs in the cities damage the safety relatively.

in recent years I had the experience of a small dog attack (two years ago)!

It was this dog that attacked me



I was getting out from an alley. A cat was on a wall and made a sound "Mewww"!

That dog with its owner were passing meters further. When I exited from the alley the dog turned and looked at me angrily and growling. It supposed I made the sound "Mew"!

Its leash was in the hand of its owner, but it tried barking to release itself from the leash to attack me. I inevitably stopped and didn't go further.

Its owner was ashamed that his dog was barking at me and wanted to hurt me. He pulled back its leash and shouted at it a few time, be quiet, and when it didn't stop, he shouted, shout up fool dog, but it didn't stop again, until its owner kicked it back, then it got calm, left me and moved away with its owner!

The reason why wild dogs decreased.

1.It is provided that the fine that is less than 500,000 yen is inflicted with the owner who threw away a pet in animal protection method Article 44 Paragraph 3.
2.In conformity with a law called rabies prophylaxis Article 6, I protect a wild dog positively.
In addition, there is the number of protection such as abandoned dogs in a tendency to decrease because in late years 室内飼 いの forms increase from points of view of the epidemic prevention of the pet, and easy breeding decreases.
3.There is the text, "the metropolis and districts must take this over in animal protection method Article 35 when the taking care of of a dog or the cat was demanded from the owner.".
In other words, when I was not able to keep a dog, the house dog understands that I become a target of the euthanasia if I throw it away and means what I hand to the metropolis and districts.

It may be said that only the person who can continue keeping it with responsibility till the last has a qualification to keep a pet.
The consciousness change for the pet of the nation happened by animal protection law.

It is my personal opinion, but thinks that it influences it that the bait of the wild dog disappeared by the removal of the trash box.
A wild dog decreases in not only the city but also the country.

By the way, the person that a lot of people keeping a small dog recently keep a big dog decreases.

Oh my brain got heat!

I finally didn't understand, whether the Japan government consider the right of the citizens OR the right of the pets?!

I think not only the wild dogs should be collected and removed in a way in Japan and other countries, but also the government should consider the priority of right and comfort of people to the animals.

As far as I understood from your article, the government has more tendency to the comfort of animals than the right and safety of Japanese people.

What is difference between dogs and thousands of cows that are killed to use their meat?

I believe, the government should not advocate the pets, where the right, comfort , and safety of people is prior to the low value of animals.

Why a Japanese should be forced to keep a pet for a long time compulsory? Why he should bring an excuse to the government such as euthanasia and so on to get rid of a pet?

Also, I don't think, removing the ash boxes is a reason that the stray dogs disappear! Yes, they may disappear in an area apparently, but it doesn't mean they have been destroyed. They will go somewhere else and will continue to reproduce.

I have to admit , understanding the strong love of pets is amazing. If a robber broke into my home , I would warn him to get out. If he hurt my cat , I'd have no problem shooting him for it. I think with me , I had no children and my pet cats takes the place of the missing child. I've seen people with little food to eat , make sure their pets get fed. My local animal shelter adopts out 30 to 50 pets every month and shows pictures of them and the people who adopt. I see my neighbors walking their dogs in the heavy rain and snow and spending a lot of money taking them to the vets for medical care. I have been in my house for 40 years and never seen a stray dog running loose. When one of my cats dies , it takes 3 or 4 days for me to stop grieving. I think Americans spend millions if not billions on their pets and dogs seem to be the favorite. Many pet owners have their pets cremated and keep their ashes in a special place in their home. My vet had a memorial/grave garden where you buy a stone with your pets name on it when they die. Some people even have a funeral for their pet with friends in attendance. It is a very common practice to have dogs and cats spayed and neutered at a very young age so they don't over populate. We have a group here in southern Maine who look for stray cats and capture them to be fixed and then return them to where they were located. I'm not sure if it's a culture thing that causes Americans to act this way.

My purpose was not to damage your tender feeling.

When I was a child, I had a white rooster. I loved it very much. When I backed home from school, my first work was to embrace and kiss it, before put off my school bag. It was single and needed a wife but at that time I didn't know. It caused it to become nervous and aggressive. It sometimes got out from the house, and attacked the kids of neighbors who were playing in the alley. The neighbors complained frequently to my parents about the rooster that it injures hands and legs of their children.

At that time, my childish thoughts, and also my intense love to the rooster didn't allow me to feel and understand what was the pitiful feeling of the neighbors about their darling kids.

However, after a while, the rooster got bird flu (at that time I didn't know what was that disease). It sat in the corner of the yard silent and motionless and only napped.

After a few days it died and I cried alternatively for two days. My mother helped me to bury it in the yard garden under an orange tree. After its death, I was sad a few months and could not forget it.

When one of the neighbor women was speaking with my mother in front of the house and my mother informed her that the rooster died, although she pretended to sadness, but I noticed she became cheerful inwardly, and a furtive satisfactory smile appeared in her face!

Yes, pets are lovely, especially cute cats that are one of the best and appropriate pets. The pets like cat, and some type of birds are lovable, cute and harmless and nobody is oppose to keeping such the pets. Of course, some western people prefer to have a dog (though I don't choose it for Muslim people because of a reason), no problem, but which type of dog?

At least, the first dog that cannot hurt severely, not the second that is actually dangerous for other citizens and can kill a weak or defenseless human:







Of course, the guard dogs can be assigned for protecting some sensitive places, but they should be restrained and also be isolated from ordinary people so that the risk of attack reach zero.

I saw in a documentary movie, an organization holds the aggressive and attacker dogs ( that are not treatable at all ) in the cages to kill them later, inevitably. I don't remember the organization was in America or England.

I think that's standard practice. Although such dogs may be trainable, shelters don't have the time or resources. So they test the dogs and if a dog shows aggression they are often killed. Supposedly there are no-kill animal shelters. I don't know what they do with such dogs.

In Japan, the stray dog almost disappeared.

I've never seen or heard of wild dogs in my area of the U.S. I think dogs are not really equipped for wild living around here. They'd probably get hit by car or killed by other animals. Or if they were becoming a nuisance, humans would trap or kill it.

I heard in the Iranian news. some children were attacked by packs of the stray dogs in different dates, in the countryside of some towns or other remote places far away from the cities. In one of the events, an eleven years old boy was injured by the packs, but doctors could not save him, and he died in the hospital.

Due to the similar events that the children were wounded by packs of the stray dogs, the relative organizations decided to collect the stray dogs from the countryside of some towns to the camps and terminate them with a comfortable method later, but the Iranian "animal welfare groups" critiqued the decision in the interior social media and the organizations had to stop the operation and find a medical alternative.



Some people deliver food to the camps for dogs, while the government supplies the main budget.

People in Iran are not allowed to hold dog in their house, in the cities, as aa pet (other pets that are not dangerous are allowed), though some persons (not many) who tend to the western culture keep a small dog in their houses but walk them seldom in the streets or other public places except when there is not any police patrol.

But the nomads who are rancher ( and also villagers who are far away from the cities) have some dogs and encounter the wolf packs in the open nature often. Each one of the nomads may has three to five or more shepherd or guard dogs that some of them have not met a citizen yet.

These people are very brave, resistant, strong, and diligent men and women against hardships of nature. They know attributes, behaviors and instincts of dogs and wolves more than all.

They usually have a firm and thin stick to ward off the pack of dogs of their neighbors.

The first folk don't wear loose trousers but they wear a long robe that covers to their lower shank and warp their shanks with a thick woolen fabric. With The long robe doesn't allow the attacker dogs and wolves to access their legs (the dogs bite their robes). Also, the woolen cover on their shank prevents the fangs of the dogs to injure their shanks that is accessible lower than the robe. If a dog catches their robes they will hit it with the stick (not hard) to ward off that, until the dog's owner calls it back.





The second folk have different traditional clothes. They wear a very loose trouser that covers their legs to their shoes. This causes the attacker dogs to bite the loose trouser instead of their shanks. The trouser is made from a resistant fabric that is not tore with the teeth of dogs or wolves. At that time they hit the dogs mildly with a stick to drive them back. The also wear a shorter robe than the first folk. It has some patterns that confuses dogs and wolves mentally. If a dog catch the lower part of the robe the man can turn to the sides and beat the dog or wolf. I discovered these things about their protective clothes by myself visually.
