If you want more of a breakdown or need to do any cut and pasting, here is how each individual character is pronounced with meanings as a whole. Hyphens are only meant to separate character pronounciations, normally they would not be there at all:

As already explained, it's just an incomplete but enough-recognigible character. You can understand what the following word means even if a part of "A" is missing, right? It's like that.
Thanks! Weird thing then. Who ever is the one that has left out that part ouf the letter of the logo which is spread all over the world/internet…
