Oktoberfest 2006

Definitely. Usually Ebisu and/or Hiroo. Will post more info once available.

Thanks man -- have been internet searching but not finding anything in English. And I don't read Japanese... But I can sure drink Japanese biru!

There had been one down here in southern Shinshu, in Komagane, for the past several years. I performed during the '97, '98 fests--and enjoyed the good locally brewed beers. (local means Nagano ken) It was great.

Yes. . . I agree free beer might just save the world !! (and at the BBQs I host at my house here, anyone--male or female--is free to use any of the rice paddies, bamboo thicket and other spacious areas which make up our house place here. (the total is 3000 tsubo [1 tsudo=2 tatami mats])

Cheers !!! MM

Tokyo Oktoberfest 2006 sponsored by Asahi Brewery, Lufthansa and the German Embassy takes place for 3 nights (Sept. 13-15) in Hibiya Park.

Other brewers probably hold similar festivities, but this is the largest.

I'll toast to Oktoberfest at home...

I had no idea the Japanese celebrated the Oktoberfest as well. Do they also celebrate the Fêtes de Wallonie (which are probably even wilder and drunker, from what I heard from people who had participated to both) ?

so quick question then, are there any Oktoberfest events happening around the country in October? 🙂

The Fêtes de Wallonie I was referring to take place in the last 2 weeks of September. You won't find many people sober in Wallonia during that period...
