Konbanwa/Ohayo (it's 12:35 am here, not sure what to put )

Well, here I am. Another fanboy obsessed with many Japanese things including anime, the language, the music (jrock/jpop, what else... I'm a fanboy, ne?), the technology and many other little things. I'm 16 years old and from Oxfordshire in the UK, and I'm into technology, computers, etc.

As my name would imply, so much music to listen to, so many animes to watch, so much culture to absorb (a lot of TRADITIONAL culture to look at too, I should remind myself)... so little time. Well, I'm trying my best... for instance I've recently started using my intro to Japanese kit, and I can already introduce myself, comment on the weather, call someone an idiot (probably not a good idea) and order beer from a sleazy Japanese bar (if I could happen to find any that would serve me).

Mmmm.

I still need to buy MYVPOPS and NIL (my parents still aren't through the "ordering music? FROM A JAPANESE WEBSITE?!!!11" stage yet, so I have to get through that first)... blugh. Anyway, I'm rambling - so yeah, here I am, and I home I'll be welcomed and all...

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I noticed that you mentioned ordering Japanese music from a Japanese website. While it is useful, I do use Amazon.co.jp, you can also find albums from UK amazon and ebay.

CD Japan is another good online source. I usually get my purchase delivered within a week after ordering.

I used Cd Japan as well, they're good. <but it takes them 4 weeks to my hometown, which is not bad at all, of course. A letter on regular mail usually takes up to 8 weeks from side to side of the country.. well, it could take up to 6 months if it doesn't get lost... XD

Anyway, he said ha cant buy anything, not till his parents get over it... hehe..
