NOVA hours

Hi,
NOVA say on their website (last updated Apr 2003):
"We offer five-day-a-week schedules of up to around 25 hours."
Their example schedule is 27.6, presumably from time between lessons.

This site (Aug 2001): TeachingInJapan.com is available at DomainMarket.com
says 34 hrs (26.5-28.5 hrs of contact)

This forum post: 404 - Page Not Found - ESL
says "the normal 40 hours"


So, my question to anyone who currently works at NOVA: what is the maximum amount of hours they can ask you to be at work (on a full 5 day schedule)? Is this written in the 'introduction to nova' terms&conditions? They seem not to give a full account of this anywhere up-to-date.

Yeah, you probably won't get one untill you sign your contract in Japan. It depends wheather you are hired as full time or part-time, but from what I hear, most new-hires work about 30 hours. It used to be 40 hours, but it was recently changed .
