i am going to meet my gf parents (Japanese) and am wondering what i could get them?

Find out from your gf what her parents like. Does her father drink? Find out what his favorite booze is. What does her mom like? You can find out from your gf and go from there.

I'm sure your gf is able to help you out.

I think food or wine are always good, but you can be a lot more creative if you know what they like better.

A good thing to give, is something they really need in the kitchen. A gave my father a very nice knife for christmas. You are the one that decides.
A thing that will suprise them.
