Hokkaido seems to be all the rage now to foreign webmasters in Japan, we received a couple of related link submissions (mostly about skiing resorts) recently. Btw, we suggest webmasters to submit their websites to the Japan Directory, it's more effective than a one-time shot here at the forum...

Yes the info about the snow festival is only listed on the event calendar briefly. Ill be putting more information and pictures soon i hope (as soon as i get time!) I hope to make the event listings page a link to a seperate page of information for each festival eventually but it takes time.

Thanks for the japan directory info too i didnt know about it and will do that tonight.

interesting thanks for the info. i changed the site to php so it should load quicker but i think that the slowness comes from the java to run the advertising link scipts.. maybe. ive got jref of course and google and my own ad program which is a free download btw and easy to use for all you mini web masters like me - check http://phpadsnew.com/two/ for info.

Anybody got any suggestions / complaints? i dont take anything personally and want to hear anything you have to say!

The white? For visited links? Yeah I think so too. Actually that was a mistake that I didnt check until now! (It should be fixed by the time you read this!) The white rollover however will stay as that is to stop the problem of blending link and cell color on older version of explorer that dont have very good css support.

Any other suggestions for color?

yes we think the new design is much more pleasing to the eye!
also so do our visitors - the site has sky rocketed in usage since the renewal.

just an update.......... site now has more hotels and restaurants listed. we should have realestate online soon (although this is a little way off yet)
