New Female gaijin intro

The rain yet falls outside my window, just beyond the reaches of the of the roof's large over-hang. It has washed the air clean, has envigorated all the plant life--as it goes into its last kick of growth before the autumn really sets in--and it has set the tone for introspection and pondering by the glowing warmth of the computer screen. (which should be a small fire instead)
It is from here, now, in this old, little (actually fairly big for Japan) house here in the far reaches of the countryside of Shinano (Nagano), in front of this PC, that I wish to extend the warmest WELCOME to you !!
I had been out for a while, had come back, and did bother to reply to those who had joined while I had been out, but to pick up from there...since you have since replied, however, I decided to answer to your thread.
I hope you stick around and enjoy the forum, post when and where you can and wish, and share and learn with all of us here !!

Do I understand it correctly that you are part Japanese? That would be interesting because so far I am the only half-Japanese person on this site (or at least of the people I met so far!!). It'd be interesting to share experiences..
