Navigation System Language

Hey guys,

I just imported a Nissan S15 from Japan and it came with a Navigation System (Eclipse AVN 6604HD) in Japanese. I want to change the language to English but I am stumped. I even used Google Translate but it is getting annoying.

Could you help me? Thank you!

The Japanese word for "settings" is 設定, "language" is 言語 and "English" is 英語. If you don't find it with that, you'll have to post some pictures. (This is assuming the UI language can be changed at all)

Don't see any such option. We've had a couple of similar questions in the past, and I don't think it's ever come out that there was an English option. There's simply no demand for it on a system produced for the domestic market.

Agreed. The only exception I remember is the one on Mercedes-Benz (and it's not a navigation system but just the display for warning or something).

The navigation function is unusable outside Japan and the AM/FM frequencies don't really match up well, so essentially what you have left is an audio player. Best bet is to throw it away and replace it with something you can use in your country.
