Hello everyone,

I'm quite fond of mythology and above all, Greek mythology.

A few days ago, one of my teacher spoke about the parallel between Orphee/ Euridice and Izanami/Izanagi.

I found it fantastic! The same myth in two countries so far away one from the other.

I wanted to read more about Izanami and Izanagi story and try to find some books talking about it.

But it is quite difficult to find books in France.

Now, I'm quite able to read books in japanese language without using (too much) my dictionnary

Can someone give me some titles about the story of the two gods, and what their story means?

The symbolism... that kind of thing...

and, you, what does this story of mythological creation of Japan evoques to you?

It's a good basis.

Doing researches, I found some books which seems very interesting.

In fact, I'm more interested by what is called "Yomi"
