JimmySeal - you're correct. ウードリー is more commonly used.
thecoop - Despite what you read it as, katakana is more often picked by it's spelling than by it's pronunciation. It's a rule I don't much care for, but it's the general way things are done, and I suspect the reason is that most Japanese have more exposure with written English than spoken English, and so it is more natural for them to translate it that way. Just remember this: katakana follows the rules of Japanese, not the rules of the original language.
