My hobby!!

Oh, right :p 😊

I draw the lines you see, then I colour in Photoshop.

Always scan in colour, that's the most important thing, have the res setting as high as your scanner can go(I usually scan at 1200dpi), making modifications to the size options of course. Then when you've got the image in your colouring program(hopefully not MS Paint), delete the RGB channel, then magenta, change the image to Greyscale, then back to RGB. That'll get rid of any unwanted colour levels, and is good if you use blue pencils for the initial sketching(I don't though).

Thanks, it's my fave drawing of them I've done to date! :-)

Wow ... cool

you are really a talented person ...

I did not reach this level yet ... coloring my drawings by computer =(

Thanks, though, believe it or not, this is only my 6th pic I've coloured this way(dodge & burn)! The rest have just been either flat or cel-shaded colour!

*Edit*
I just realized I had neglected this place, this is the final version of that pic:

The shines that I missed and more of the BG are there now!

Thanks. I draw in many styles as I am still learning, but I also do it so as to not get bogged down by one way of drawing. Though with fan art, I'm obviously using someone else's type of art, but I usually adapt it to my own preferences.

The key thing to remember, is the layering.

Duplicating the bottom 'line' layer and hiding it, then making sure the new layer is always on top(multiply), with all the colours going underneath... I try to keep each colour layer separate, makes re-touching easier, though you do kinda end up with a lot of layers(I had about 7-10 layers just to each character, so yah.. quite a lot). If you're doing a comic as I am here, then place the text and bubbles over the top of the line layer.

Yeah..I could figure out the kind of styles you got inspired from to do your drawings but you definately adapt them and the result is very beautiful and original in my opinion.

And thanks a lot for your help!!!! I know what you mean about ending up with a lot of layers. That makes the whole composition really confusing to me and it gets difficult working on the details and retouching..Still I'm working hard on my drawings and practicing whenever I have the time :)

Glad you think so :-)

It does get confusing, heck, I lost track of several layers when I was making this page :o Which version of Photoshop do you have?

^ No problem!! :)

I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0...though I also practice with a different version at my cousin's house, right now I don't remember wich version because they've changed it too many times..but yeah..I think that working with the layers is the most confusing part for me, I end with more than 12 layers almost every time...

CS2, that's good, I'm using that one!

The best thing to do with all those layers that just keep building up, is to put them into nice little folders. Click the image below!

Couldn't show much more, too many layers :p

Now for something, a little less Photoshoppie, another page from my D&Dc fan-Manga:

Well, I had to top-up my phone to get this chance to upload, but it's necessary:

Heyyy, look, a full month.... not cool :(

Anywayz, I managed to finish this off, mostly due to the fact that I had time off work because I collapsed from a virus at work on the Thursday:

Hope y'likes :-)

As I've already shown the next page already in this thread, the page above will be the last page that I will be displaying, here, or anywhere else on the net.... other than in the full download at my website when I've sorted it.

So, until then, this is an image from one of the next pages, in wallpaper format:

Also, a bit of a break from my usual cast, Diana, Princess of the Amazon's:

Hope you like ;)

Unfortunately I can not draw AT ALL. Every thing I draw turns out really crappy so I stick to writing fan fiction, I enjoy writing it but I wish I could draw too.
I've just wasted..<insert time here> of your life

Heh, we all start out crappy, it's always just a case of trying over and over!

Anywayz, I just finished this, this very day... the latest page from my Totally Spies fan-Manga/comic:
